Think that i will make a photoset of most of the haikyuu crew at the amusement park and waterpark
Want to draw something with backgrounds for once
dorks excited about amusement park
so i saw episode 15 of haikyuu
and saw the second ending where kageyama smiled
thought about drawing a heartfull comic full of joy where all the karasuno volleyball member stood there instead of just hinata.
that didn’t happen

Anonymous said: your style is very cute :D
Aww thank you! ;v;
dominatrixfujoshi said: Am I allowed to know how you made that kuroo drawing? :O (I don't mean the whole 'time and practice' thing I'm also an artist, I mean the technique with which you achieved the smooth lineless effect)
i used airbrush and the brush to make the lines smooth
the brushes i use:
FLAT - BRUSH
if you don’t have a flatbrush then it’s ok to use another brush that resembles the flatbrush since it’s going to be blended anyway
it’s old but i did paint it the same way
i change from -normal- to -multiply- allot when i did his hair and skin (especially when using the flat brush)
i change the blending ALLOT in my flat brush
you can check out the brush/tutorial/whatever that i had made
the airbrush is the same too
THE DIFFERENCES THAT I DID NOW WAS:
-TO MAKE THE LINES SMOOTHER ( ) USING THE BRUSH AND WATER BRUSH
-LOWERED THE BRUSH AND WATER DENSITY WHEN SHADING
- USED BLUR AFTER THE FLATBRUSH (such as his neck)
if you know the human face then then it will be more understandable when you are drawing
i hightlighted the parts where his cheekbone, chin, nose, eyelids, and under his eyebrows so that it would be more recognized.
there are some other places that i did highlight but with darker colour since it’s closer to his hair
the way i did his hair (according to the video) i used the flat brush. i did the same thing in this drawing too, but stopped halfway and used the water and brush to draw the hair.
i don’t really know how to explain HOW i did the hair thought.
but i can say that you use the water brush to create a colour that is similar to the skin+hair colour. As the picture seen above, blending between the skin and the black coloured hair created a somewhat greyish colour. use that colour to highlight other places in the hair.
i think that i should say this anyway:
- i used 5 days on his face, 2 hours on his hair and clothes
- the art is in 2 layers - background/colour and the person. + more layers when adding “the final touch.”
- his face resembled a titan before the first WIP art.
- i had to take many breaks since he looked like a murderer
-BE PATIENT TAKE BREAKS
YOU WILL SEE ALL THE MISTAKES AFTER YOU TAKE AN HOUR BREAK OR SO.
i think that you will find some other tutorials that will be allot better than this. i don’t even know what technique i use, just remember how the face’s shading and lightning works.
i suck at explaining
he looked so much like a skinned zombie and a murderer when i first started drawing him
*sobs* i am finally done
semi realistic kuroo from haikyuu
Anonymous said: whoa it's already been half a year since you drew in that style?? damn son i'm following you for a loong time then. keep up the good work, you're one of my favorite artists B)
*Sobs* thank you! And the fact that you have been here for so long quq
Its frustrating to draw in this style again. Skinned kuroo is not the best sight i have seen ._.
